Influence of Dumbbell Thickness of ST2 Sheath on Test Results in Wire and Cable Tension Test

摘要: 基于GB/T 2951.11-2008/IEC 60811-1-1:2001机械性能测量方法,在标准规定条件下,采用控制变量法开展了聚氯乙烯护套的拉力试验,以ST2护套为例,将哑铃片厚度限定在(0.8~1.0)mm和(1.8~2.0)mm的范围,分析了哑铃片的厚度对试验结果的影响及产生这种影响的原因。研究表明:在标准规定条件范围内,哑铃片厚度为(0.8~1.0)mm试样的抗张强度值比(1.8~2.0)mm试样的抗张强度值大;(0.8~1.0)mm和(1.8~2.0)mm范围内的厚度对断裂伸长率的影响不明显。
Abstract: Based on the mechanical properties measurement method of GB/T 2951.11-2008/IEC 60811-1-1:2001, the tensile test of PVC sheath is carried out by using the control variable method under the conditions specified in the standard. Taking ST2 sheath as an example, the thickness of dumbbell sheet is limited to the range of (0.8 ~ 1.0) mm and (1.8 ~ 2.0) mm. The influence of the thickness of dumbbell sheet on the test results and the reasons for this influence are analyzed. The results show that the tensile strength of the specimen with the thickness of (0.8 ~ 1.0) mm is greater than that of the specimen with the thickness of (1.8 ~ 2.0) mm; The thickness in the range of (0.8 ~ 1.0) mm and (1.8 ~ 2.0) mm has no obvious effect on the elongation at break.
