Analysis of WeChat Icon Design Based on Cognition of the Elderly

摘要: 微信是中国老年人使用最多的即时通讯类软件,经过一系列的升级和业务的扩充,功能体系已然十分庞大。图标作为应用界面上用来表达某一操作或者功能示意的图形,是人机交互的入口,在微信“关怀模式”下并无做出形式上的调整,无法知道老年用户在使用时是否存在认知困难。本文通多问卷调查法和访谈法针对60岁及以上的老年人做调研并进行单因素分析,探究老年认知下的微信图标设计,以提高老年人的用户体验。
Abstract: WeChat is the instant messaging software most used by the elderly in China. After a series of upgrades and business expansion, the functional system is already very large. Icons, as graphics used to express a certain operation or function on the application interface, are the entrance of human-computer interaction. No formal adjustments have been made in WeChat "care mode", so it is impossible to know whether elderly users have recognition or not when using them. know difficulty. This paper uses multiple questionnaires and interviews to conduct research on the elderly aged 60 and above and conduct univariate analysis to explore the design of WeChat icons under the cognition of the elderly, so as to improve the user experience of the elderly.
