Abstract: Based on the actual engineering case, this paper analyzes the difference between the calculation of earthwork quantities atthe site selection and construction drawing design stages, explains that the difference in terain design accuracy is the main reason for thisdiference, analyzes the impact of diferent teain conditions on the airport earthwork calculation, and puts forward several suggestions forthe earhwork caleulation at the site selection stage of the aiport
