Practical Solutions for Condensation Issues in an Air Conditioning System of a Laboratory Building

摘要:空调通风系统的正常稳定运行是科研实验环境的重要保障。采用中央空调系统的南方某实验大楼在投入使用后,空调风口和风管、冷冻水管保温材料表面多处出现严重结露现象,冷凝水滴落导致了多起灯具起火等安全事故,造成仪器设备损坏等较大经济损失。文章根据结露产生的机理,围绕露点温度和空气湿度这两个形成结露的前提条件,从系统设计、保温材料、施工工艺、孔洞封堵、后期改造、规范使用和运行维保等方面查找原因,针对性地采取措施完善和改进,选用节能环保设备,运用先进的监控技术,实时反馈和调整系统运行参数,确保气流组织合理,系统运行稳定,避免空调系统出现表面结露问题。
Abstract: The stable and proper operation of an air conditioning and ventilation system is crucial for maintaining a controlled environment in research laboratories. After a southern laboratory building with a central air conditioning system was put into use, severe condensation appeared on multiple surfaces, including air vents, ducts, and the insulation materials of chilled water pipes. The dripping of condensed water led to several safety incidents, such as fires in light fixtures, which caused significant equipment damage and economic loss. This article examines the causes of condensation based on its mechanisms, focusing on dew point temperature and air humidity—two essential conditions for condensation formation. The causes were identified through an analysis of system design, insulation materials, construction techniques, hole sealing, later modifications, proper usage, and operational maintenance. Targeted improvements were made, including the selection of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly equipment, the use of advanced monitoring technologies to provide real-time feedback, and the adjustment of system operation parameters to ensure proper airflow distribution and stable system operation, preventing surface condensation in the air conditioning system.
